While the Tenno majorly fight a solitary war in Warframe, there are some who extend their hand in companionship. Among them are several syndicates who, while claiming to support you, do it for their self-interests. However, working with them can supply you with weapons, mods, and much more.
RELATED: Warframe: Top Companions, Ranked
There are six Faction Syndicates in the game, all of whom are either allied (+50 percent rep), in opposition (-50 percent rep), or direct enemies (-100 percent rep) of others. On the other hand, there are ten Neutral Syndicates that enjoy their passive existence. Furthermore, there are a few Event syndicates as well. Keep in mind that there are no bad options, as each one of the syndicates has excellent offerings.
18 Ventkids
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Logical
On Fortuna on the planet Venus, there are these Solaris United kids completely cut out of worldly hardships and submerged into their own little world of fun and playfulness. They like to race around on their hoverboards built out of tech gears stolen from the Corpus.
K-Drives, as they like to call these hoverboards, are a fun way of moving around in Warframe, and the only way you're ever getting one is from the Ventkids themselves. Additionally, they don't demand any resources. All in all, they live in a little bubble of joy while the universe around them burns.
17 New Loka
- Type: Faction
- Max Rank: Flawless
- Allied: The Perrin Sequence
- Opposed: Steel Meridian
- Enemy: Cephalon Suda
Out of all the syndicates in the game, New Loka's objective might seem the most humane to you; that's because it literally is. New Loka, led by priestess Amaryn, believes in rebuilding the Earth back to a state that humans can return to after the Orokin destroyed it as a whole.
If you decide to join them, you will have access to some of the coolest things to have in your inventory, including Sancti Tigris. Although they might seem honorable and domestic, don't misread them as they will not hesitate to go against you if that's what they deem fit.
16 Red Veil
- Type: Faction
- Max Rank: Exalted
- Allied: Steel Meridian
- Opposed: Cephalon Suda
- Enemy: Arbiters of Hexis
If New Loka's beliefs and tactics seemed desperate, Red Veil just one-ups them in terms of doctrine and opinions. They are the remnants of humanity itself, fighting a last-ditched desperate battle for the survival of the race. Hence, it's not hard to comprehend their aggressiveness and why "No cost too great, no blood too precious" is their go-to mantra.

They will not hesitate to use an iron hand to crush what they deem unfit. Join them, and you will get access to many amazing and destructive toys, including the Rakta Cernos bow and other Warframe ability mods.
15 The Perrin Sequence
- Type: Faction
- Max Rank: Partner
- Allied: New Loka
- Opposed: Arbiters of Hexis
- Enemy: Steel Meridian
In the broader sense of what's going on in the syndicate systems, The Perrin Sequence might seem to you as the good guys just trying to work their way through trade and diplomacy. They are a break-away branch of the Corpus and are led by Ergo Glast.
Befriend them, and you'll get your hands on advanced Corpus technology, including the Secura kit. This includes the Secura Penta, one of the most loved launch weapons in-game. They might seem harmless and passive, but you won't want to be in their bad books and be hunted by the Eximus MOA platoon.
14 Arbiters Of Hexis
- Type: Faction
- Max Rank: Maxim
- Allied: Cephalon Suda
- Opposed: The Perrin Sequence
- Enemy: Red Veil
One of the most secretive of all the syndicates in the origin system, they are the ones who believe in the unlimited potential of the Tenno, and want to lead them to a path of "ultimate enlightenment." In their eyes, Tenno must not confide in the simple ways of life they do, but expand the horizons of their being.
Two words are good enough to summarize a reason to join them: Telos Boltace. This amazing crowd-control melee weapon is one of the best in Warframe.
13 Steel Meridian
- Type: Faction
- Max Rank: General
- Allied: Red Veil
- Opposed: New Loka
- Enemy: The Perrin Sequence
The genetically engineered Grineers have no real choice but to serve their twin queens. However, everything changed when a genetic flaw gave freedom of decision-making to some, who defected, and under the leadership of Cressa Tal, established Steel Meridian. Their sole mission is to defend those whom the Grineers seek to destroy.

Gaining their respect allows players to get their hands on awesome weapons, including the Hek. Furthermore, 15 percent of affinity points will be converted into standings.
12 Cephalon Suda
- Type: Faction
- Max Rank: Genius
- Allied: Arbiters of Hexis
- Opposed: Red Veil
- Enemy: New Loka
Named after Archimedean Suda, who was later turned into a Cephalon by the Orokin, this syndicate is more like an AI-based, knowledge-hungry database. The fact that their leader served the Orokin in the era of the Old War puts them in the bad books of anti-Orokin syndicates like New Loka and Red Veil.
However, it all seems worthwhile when you take into consideration the Synoid Simulor or Synoid Gammacor that Cephalon Suda has to offer. The cherry on top, they have the coolest syndicate sigil.
11 Conclave
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Typhoon
Led by Conclave Master Teshin, this unique syndicate allows and manages PvP battles in Warframe. A total of four modes of battle are available, namely, Annihilation, Team Annihilation, Cephalon Capture, and Lunaro. They all have their own rules and rewards. You can earn valuables while enjoying the PvP events here.
With 20+ maps to play on, this could be a good pastime enjoyment ride in the challenging world of Warframe while earning resources easily. So why don't you give a try to Conclave?
10 Cephalon Simaris
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: No Ranks
Not unlike Cephalon Suda, Cephalon Simaris's personal life goal is to gather knowledge from every source. But unlike the former, Simaris aims to synthesize every life form into "immortals," which, in simpler terms, implies destroying their physical forms and storing their presence as data.
RELATED: Warframe: Every Tenet Lich Weapon, Ranked
One of the primary things you'll want from Simaris is the Simulacrum key, which is a vital item in Warframe. This when paired with Umbral mods and other interesting items makes this syndicate one of the best in the game.
9 Ostron
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Kin
Headed by chief Elder Konzu, these inhabitants of Cetus are basically 'scavenging traders' of this world, passive and tamed. However, Grineers do not love them at all and are on a regular hunt for them. You are generally more than welcome to trade with them as being made up of non-warrior type mostly, they need your protection to fight off the Grineers.
However, don't be fooled by their unappealing looks. In return for your assistance, they give out an awesome customizable weapon and other things, provided you climb their ranks all the way to rank 5, aka, Kin.
8 The Quills
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Architect
The Quills are a passive monastic group of being who serve Unum, in the Orokin tower at Cetus. Due to their multiple similarities and their mutual affection for Unum, the Quills are generally quite close to the Ostron. As you rise through their ranks and become an Architect/rank 5, you'll have more and more benefits coming your way.
Although they greatly improve your weaponry, Sentient Cores and Eidolon Shard they demand in return is quite challenging to get. But once you have what they want, they have more than what you want.
7 Solaris United
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Old Mate
Too much oppression gives birth to rebels; that's exactly what happened here. Solaris United is a rebel faction of Solaris exploited and oppressed by the Corpus for their works. They are not the war-types though, and hence need all the support they can, and that's precisely where you come in.
RELATED: Warframe: All Damage Types Explained
They offer Kitguns, one of the best pistol in the game, provided you earn their respect and do their fighting for them. Their top-ranked allies are respectfully called "Old Mate."
6 Vox Solaris
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Shadow
The name Vox Solaris roughly translates to "voice of the sun," or in a better sense of the Warframe universe, "voice of the Solari people." This is a highly secretive syndicate with a known alliance with Solaris United and the Quills of Cetus.
Having close Corpus background, they provide Corpus-themed cosmetics you can use on operators. On top of that, once you're trustworthy enough to them, they open up their inventory enough for you to get some good rewards, including Arcane Enhancements among other things.
5 Entrati
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Family
From the Martian moon Deimos, this syndicate is a family of early beings right from the era of the Orokin. The Entrati had a reputation as some kind of geniuses as they were the first to successfully harness the power of the void. However, in present, they are more like a broken family on the verge of collapse.
They do have internal differences, but they can offer you ancient Orokin and Infested weapons and mods for the right price. Headed by Mother, the top rank of this syndicate is rightly called "Family."
4 Necraloid
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Clearance: Odima (3)
While talking about the Entrati, the Necraloids are their subordinate machine, entirely loyal to them. You might confuse them as a sub-syndicate of the Entrati, but that's not true entirely. Loid would be your point of contact in this syndicate, and this robot butler has awesome things to offer.

Necramech would be the primary attraction for you while dealing with the Necraloid, which is like a powerful robotic suit/armor. Furthermore, they have amazing mods on offer too.
3 The Holdfasts
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Angel
The Holdfasts are the remnants of the Zariman crew who were onboard Zariman Ten Zero, the legendary Orokin vessel renowned for the void accident. Think of them as a helping/guiding hand for the Tenno in the quest of shielding Zariman from invaders.
You can trade in Voidplumes with Archimedean Yonta for syndicate standings and climb through their syndicate rank to become an "Angel." Furthermore, the obtained Thrax Plasm can be used to buy Voruna and Sarofang blueprints and components.
2 Kahl's Garrison
- Type: Neutral
- Max Rank: Home
Kahl's Garrison is led by Kahl-175, a Grineer Lancer who was captured by the Narmer into servitude, but later escaped and made it his life's goal to fight for all his Grineer brothers. He finds allies in the Daughter of the Entrati Family and Tenno as they share a common enemy.
You would be able to play as Kahl himself in a few missions and use his awesome Grakata assault rifle and Machete. You can also perform stealth finishers and slam attacks while playing as Kahl. The cherry on top is the Archon mod set, which is the best in the game.
1 Nightwave
- Type: Neutral (Event Syndicate)
If there is one voice you can't ignore in Warframe, it's that of Nora Night. She is the voice behind the pirate radio station Nightwave. Nightwave is one of the unique syndicates on this list as well as the game. It always has valuable rewards for you if you're willing to perform their tasks.
You can get cosmetic items and mods needed for the purpose of the game. Most of all, you can earn in-game currency, which can be used to purchase any or all of those things, including weapons.
